Carrots for vegetable face pack
  • Carrots has a considerable amount of antioxidants and vitamin A which helps our skin to retain youth and reduce the signs of premature aging. 
  • It also has vitamin C, and it helps to brighten the skin. 
  • Carrots provide potassium, which helps to reduce dryness of the skin. It also has beta-carotene which complements to the skin, prevents irritation, and helps to protect it from UV rays. 
  • Carrots stimulate the production of collagen, the protein substance that will reduce wrinkles. 
1.Carrot and coconut oil face mask .

Coconut oil contains vitamin E which helps to smooth the skin and it has antibacterial and moisturizing properties. 

  • Half of a carrot 
  • Few drops of coconut oil 

Chop the carrot, blend and make a paste. Then mix it with few drops of coconut oil. Apply the paste on your face and leave it for 20 mins. Rinse it with warm water. 

2.Carrot and yogurt face mask
  • Half of a carrot 
  • Yogurt 
  • 2 table spoons of lemon 

Blend the carrot and mix with yogurt and add lemon. If the paste is juicier add more yogurt as thickener. Leave it for 20 mins and wash it with cool water. 


Cucumber slices for vegetable face pack

Contains vitamin C and caffeic acid, which both cause for reduce inflammations and irritations on skin, and hydration because of its high-water content. The peel itself contains silica, which firms up sagging skin. Even people with the most sensitive skin types can use cucumber on their skin.

  • Few slices of cucumber 
  • 2 table spoons of honey 

 Blend the cucumber pieces and make a paste. Mix it with honey and apply on your face. Leave it for 20 mins and wash off with warm water. 

2.Cucumber and Aloe Vera for sunburns 

Aloe-Vera is the best remedy for sunburns. It is well known for its soothing cooling properties. 

  •  A slice of aloe vera leaf 
  • Few slices of cucumber 

Blend the cucumber slices. Slice the outer cover of aloe vera leaf carefully and take out the gel part. Mix them well and apply on your face. Leave it for 20 mins and wash off with warm water. 

Cabbage  face mask


Contains vitamin C and vitamin K antioxidants that protect the skin from free-radical damage. Its sulphur content may be useful in healing acne and eczema also.

  • Few cabbage leaves 
  • 2 table spoons of honey 

Blend the cabbage leaves and make a paste. Mix it with the honey and apply it on your face. Leave it for 20 mins and rinse with warm water. 


  • Tomato cleanses the skin and helps you prevent from blackheads. 
  • It is also very hydrating, so it can sooth your damaged skin. 
  • Tomato can help you with skin discolorations, acne marks. 
  • It removes the dead skin cells and exfoliates your skin naturally. 
  • Tomato has astringent properties, so it tightens pores. 
  • It contains lycopene, which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. You can use it to protect your skin against premature aging signs.

  • 1 Tomato 

Chop the tomato, blend and make a paste. Add some yogurt and mix it well. Apply on face and leave it for 20 mins. Rinse it with warm water.

Pumpkin face mask

It contains zinc and potassium to combat redness. 

Recipe –

  • Piece of pumpkin 
  • 2 table spoons of lemon 
  • Yogurt  

Chop the pumpkin in to small pieces, blend it well and make a paste. Add lemon and yogurt into it and mix well. Apply on your face and leave it for 20 mins. Rinse it with cool water.
